I love love love spicy food! Sauces wouldn’t be complete without adding some chili on it. After years of buying a ready made mix, I decided to try to make my own Chili Garlic Sauce!
Here’s my recipe:
1 cup of chilies (chopped)
2 bulbs of garlic (chopped)
2 cups of cooking oil
2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tbsp salt
- Heat oil over low flame. Once it’s hot enough, sauté the chilies. Mix well.
- Add the salt and sugar. Continue mixing.
- Then add the garlic.
- Sauté for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to cook over a low flame and not burn the garlic.
- Let it cool for 20 minutes then place in a glass jar for storage.
It’s so quick and easy to make and it definitely gives your meal that extra kick!
