Easy to Make Chili Garlic Sauce

I love love love spicy food! Sauces wouldn’t be complete without adding some chili on it. After years of buying a ready made mix,  I decided to try to make my own Chili Garlic Sauce!

Here’s my recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of chilies (chopped)
2 bulbs of garlic (chopped)
2 cups of cooking oil
2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tbsp salt

STEPS:

  1. Heat oil over low flame. Once it’s hot enough, sauté the chilies. Mix well.
  2. Add the salt and sugar. Continue mixing.
  3. Then add the garlic.
  4. Sauté for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to cook over a low flame and not burn the garlic.
  5. Let it cool for 20 minutes then place in a glass jar for storage.

It’s so quick and easy to make and it definitely gives your meal that extra kick!
